Another Day At The Office

From '02 until '05 my oldest daughter was a professional jockey...after her 3rd child she decided it was time to stop. Now she works with trainers and exercises about 10-15 horses a day. Once a year Philadelphia Park hosts an amateur race that she likes to ride in. This year she took 2nd. Although it's potentially a very dangerous profession I have to hand it to her for sticking to her guns and making her passion her living. Enjoy.

That's amazing! Didn't know there was much money to be made (unless you're winning the big races), but I guess every sport has professionals.

That's amazing. I'm always fascinated by the jobs people have. She sounds like she has a very interesting job.

Very cool. We live in a huge horse-racing town. My parents live over by the race track and every morning, if you drive by early enough, you can see them running the horses.
