What A Party

Allison reminded me that I never posted about the wedding.

It was Saturday June 21st at 6 pm. This was before the heat wave settled in. By about 4:30 it was down to the mid 80's and just about as nice as it gets in these parts that time of the year. It started out really special:

Any time you have a dove watch over your wedding it's a good sign

Bride and groom chose White Gold. You don't see it too much anymore. I think it's stunning.

"Dude, you're screwed!" (heh-heh...just kidding)

"Got a little Captain in you?" Let's just say that the party got REALLY fun come sundown.

It turned out to be a magical night...not one we will ever forget. Many happy years to the Newlyweds.

Dog Days

It's been a hot 4 weeks or so. Wednesday was the first nice day since the middle of July...Ha. Imagine thinking of 95 degrees as being nice. But when you compare it against 100-105 that's what you get.

The heat of the day is one thing but what really seems to make it a long grind is not getting below about 82-85 at night. I told someone the other day that in weather like this I don't have much strength. I have just enough strength to carry a 6-pack out and float in the pool. There is hope on the horizon, though. According to our Accuweather's 15 day forecast there aren't any 100 degree days coming up and we may see some upper 80's for highs.

If that happens maybe my Beautiful Wife will let me go back out and play!

I'm back...

Been away for a while. Sorry...this silly little thing called 'work' has been occupying my time. Lots to talk about, lots going on in the world. We'll dive in soon.
